On December 13, a video featuring Jeon So Min and her Sorry Not Sorry co-star Choi Daniel was released on the Jiseokjin World YouTube channel. During the video, Jeon So Min shared candid updates on her life post-Running Man.

Ji Suk Jin, surprised by Jeon So Min’s appearance, commented, “You’ve lost weight! Has someone been troubling you? Tell me, and I’ll take care of it.” To this, Jeon So Min laughed and responded, “I have lost some weight, but it was intentional.” The two revealed that they hadn’t seen each other in about a year, despite occasionally talking over the phone.

Ji Suk Jin continued to compliment Jeon So Min, saying, “You’ve become prettier. Your skin is glowing.” Jeon So Min humorously admitted, “I’ve been visiting the dermatologist frequently.”

When Ji Suk Jin brought up her departure from Running Man, he said, “After So Min left Running Man…” Jeon So Min interjected, suggesting, “How about saying I graduated instead?” However, Ji Suk Jin disagreed, saying, “Graduated? No way. You left. You clearly expressed your intentions, and while we supported you, we did try to persuade you to stay. But you wouldn’t budge.”

Reflecting on her departure, Jeon So Min admitted, “The atmosphere on Running Man has improved, and the average age of the cast has gone down.” Ji Suk Jin jokingly asked, “Do you regret leaving? The world outside is rough, isn’t it?” To this, Jeon So Min laughed and replied, “It is a bit tough out there.”

Ji Suk Jin further asked how she felt after leaving the show. Jeon So Min confessed, “Since leaving Running Man, my humor standards have become too high. No matter how funny something is, I find myself thinking, ‘Why is this funny?’ Over the past year, I’ve rarely laughed as hard as I used to.”

She also shared her concerns during the transition, saying, “I started filming sooner than I expected after leaving Running Man. About three to four months later, I worked on a movie, filmed two single-episode dramas, and then started Sorry Not Sorry. But honestly, I was very worried. I couldn’t see what my future would look like, and I had nothing scheduled. I had recently moved, which was financially burdensome, and the industry was tough at the time. I even worked part-time at a café owned by an older acquaintance..”

Ji Suk Jin, shocked, said, “I couldn’t believe it when I heard you were working at a café in Sangam-dong!”

Jeon So Min explained the experience, saying, “Some customers thought it was part of a reality show and asked where the cameras were. I didn’t cover my face at all—it was part of the deal. The café owner suggested I not wear a hat or mask to help boost sales. My hourly wage was the same as others, but they didn’t provide meal allowances. Instead, they bought me meals. It felt like I was back to when I was 29 and working at a café. It reminded me of the days when I was dreaming about my future, and it recharged my energy. In the end, it turned out to be a great experience.”

Jeon So Min left Running Man last year after six successful years on the show. Her latest drama, Sorry Not Sorry, marks her return to acting after a year-long hiatus, showcasing her resilience and versatility.
